    hi all

    PS3 and 360 gamer here

I have money for a Nintendo wii, but, every magazine, theres no games coming out, red steel 2 sounds nice, but looks like Nintendo has nothing but the same old recycled games, mario mario mario mario , i grew up with mario but I want something original.

Any Nintendo fans here can tell me some nintendo exlusives, which don't have the words mario in it.

Plus $400 for a last gen console hardly seems fair, I can buy 2 ps3 and 2 360 games this week, but oh well, get at me.

IMO the wii has the worst big budget 3rd party support ever.

I think you just answered your own question. Oh, but it's $250, not $400.

Red Steel and Bleach are the only ones I've really heard anything decent about. Hardly worh owning for just two games in my opinion, unless you're just a Bleach fanatic.

Truly it is THE must have system of the casual gamers. Most people I know who own one tend to brag about endlessly about the party games, including the Worms game. Honestly, Worms? That's been on every system since the Dreamcast. And a few non-collectors have commented on liking some of the more obscure classic games released through the pay-to-play download service.

Seeing as you already have the two better consoles of this current generation, I'd advise against buying the Wii. Buy a DS instead, it has better games than Wii.

You couldn't be more correct. I'm only keeping Wii in anticipation of four games: Castlevania Judgment, The Conduit, The House of the Dead: Overkill and MadWorld...and I somehow feel that they'll probably all really disappoint me. I hope that isn't the case, though, as I've invested a lot of money in Wii. The only game that I own that I truly feel has justified my Wii purchase is No More Heroes.

Sidebar: Red Steel was the worst game purchase I made. Crippled control motion. Bleach is just swinging the remote around the room. Not much to it.

    Just buy a Wii already.

Sadly, the only other console that I want is an Xbox 360, and that's only for Castle Crashers. I really don't want to buy an Xbox 360 solely for an XBLA release, though. My computer can run pretty much any game that I'd actually want to play without even flinching, so it's not as though I need to rely on a console to play high-end games that my computer can't handle, nor are there any exclusives that I really want for Xbox 360. I should probably sell my Wii and buy a shitload of classic consoles. XD

I looked into getting a Wii. I was gonna trade my 360 for one. It's still in the back of my mind, but I doubt I'll do it anytime soon.

A lot of the Wii games seem really cool, but I got bored with mine so ridiculously quick. Super Mario Galaxy and SSB Brawl are great games though.

Mega Man 9 isn't going to be Wii exclusive though. Capcom has confirmed it will also be available through XBL and PSN. Paying for a game you can't own a physical copy of though, I can never imagine doing something like that.

Yeah, MM9's on other consoles...and probably at a much higher resolution, obviously. I'm pretty sure that the Wii version's supposed to have something special about it that puts it above the other versions, though. I'm not 100% sure about that, though.

As for game downloads, sorry, but I love Steam. It's fucking awesome. I hate installing games from discs. And yeah, I do a clean install of Windows at least once every two or three months, so that does get tedious.

I had a Wii for awhile and it was cool at first, but the novelty wears off after awhile. I've got a PS3 and a 360 now and they are by far superior.

Yeah, as long as you can re-download MM9 w/o paying for it again then it should be fine.

The Sonic game on the Wii is pretty cool, but yea... I'd rather have a 360.

    Sorry, this is being bumped.

The Wii is now $200, and if you have Broadband internet and Wii Points (1pt.=1 penny) you can get original Nintendo and SEGA games for $5 to $10. I saw Sonic The Hedgehog 2 on there for some amount. AND did you see Wii Fit, Wii Fit PLUS, Wii play, Wii Sports, along with MOTION-NESSACARY variations of games for Xbox's, PlayStations or PSP's, even PC?

    NO, so get over it!!

To get that font size, type in 72 instead of 10 for the font size thing

We know how to get that font size, it wasn't necessary. And BTW you can get all those classic games for absolutely free, buying them from the on-line store is completely unnecessary for those who know where to look.
