Thank the Japanese media for forcing Nintendo to jump out, hurt sales of the just US launched DS XL and reveal by next Christmas we may have a brand new DS on the market...and one that will support 3D without the glasses, are you all interested?

Here is a video that shows what it may look like [This is a DSi Japanese game that uses the camera to track your face, to simulate depth, it's sick]:? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v_P4gyjf5tQ

I'd really like to get this, but only if it worked really well. I want to know more about how the games will work in 3D.

If it makes games look like that I might be inclined to get it. But I'd like to see it launch first so I can see what games will be compatible with it.

i've seen that before a while back.
i really thought it was a dsi game being released soon.

anyways, every time n-dogg mentions a new hand-held update, i put off the current design until the next one comes out, but it's getting ridiculous when the next model is mentioned shy before the current one is released state side.

I'm going to hold off on this until I've seen the E3 preview of the system. Hardwarewsie the only thing we know about it for sure is that Nvidia Ion chips are being used to process the graphics, which means the system has potential provided that Nintendo doesn't screw it up by using low res screens as they traditionally have done.

Why? When technology has far surpassed red and black graphics with the only thing "virtual" was detailed depth of levels. The only good game for Virtual Boy was Wario Land and it was ahead of its time anyway and those rejected.

Well this is how it looks like:

Quite an improvement from the original DS.

I got two things to point out here: 1) I really like that touch D-pad. Thats pretty damn cool.

2) You see that little lever to the right of the top screen? In the above post I was complaining about the Virtual Boy only being 3D in the sense that it had depth to the levels. (kinda)? Well thats what that switch is for. Its a depth switch. And you can actually turn it off. I find that really lame.

Depth adjustment slide bar is there for both disabling the 3D for those who are visually impared and for adjusting the intensity of the 3D for those not visually impared.

I'm still looking forward to the prospect of 3D bounce in the new Dead or Alive game being developed for the system.

People who are visually impaired shouldn't be playing video games.

And I bet you are Tweeg. lol
