I just watched Superman: Doomsday and it was pretty sweet. I've always said the Doomsday story would make a kickass Superman movie, but that it most likely won't ever get made. I guess this is the next best thing. It left some things out that I remember from The Death and Life of Superman, but overall I thought it did a good job telling the story.

I've heard that the new Hulk movie isn't a sequel to Ang Lee's movie, but more of a re-imaging. Basically the same movie, told in a different way. Anyone know if that's true?

Yes it is true goblin. It was suppose to be a sequel but, marvel studios took over since a lack of production by Universal Studios.

Anyways I didn't like Superman: Doomsday that much. Lack of the 4 other superman, lack of Justice Leauge or other heroes for that matters, too short, and Superman didn't even die for crying out loud. Plus I wasn't all thrilled about the voice actors either. You should try out New Frointer on Dvd. Now that's good.

Coming soon to Catoon Dtv movies on Marvel:

Next Avengers: Heroes of Tomorrow - August 2008
Hulk Vs. - January 2009
Thor: Son of Asgard - September 2009
Planet Hulk - February 2010

On Dc's behalf:

Batman: Gotham Knight (June 2008)
Wonder Woman (Late 2008/Early 2009)
Teen Titans: The Judas Contract (2009)

Yeah I was a bit disappointed that the Supermen didn't show up and that Lois didn't know Supes was Clark. If I remember right she already knew. I like the story much better than the movie, but like I said, it's about as close as we'll get to an actual Doomsday movie, so I'll take it.

I still haven't seen the original Hulk. I have it, but have yet to watch it. I need to get on that. I'm curious about the new one, so I'll definitely have an open mind when seeing it, even if I don't think Norton will make a good Hulk.

I was gonna check out New Frontier, but I never got around to it. I'll probably do it sometime this week. It looks jawesome.

New hulk trailer:

http://www.mtv.com/overdrive/?id=1583143&vid=215625

I don't know what to think about this. Both sides sound kinda like a bunch of Bs to me. Though I let Marvel do thier job and later release the uncut version later on dvd (if it isn't stupid that is) if possible.

BTW did you check out the new Spectacular spider cartoon it's on saturday on 10:00 a.m. and it's actucally fuking awesome superhero cartoon I have ever seen.

Check out episode 1:

I just episode 3 of that cartoon. That one sucks though because spidey got his ass whipped alot and his buddies resuced him. Bullshit he doesn't need rescuing why the hell not call Turok from that 360 game he could've taken care of that mother fucker in secs. If he can take on a t-rex with his knife then he can whoop some lizard ass with no problem. :curse:

With the jokes aside I thought it was ok but I pefer the movies themselves.

I thought it was pretty goodchris baldwin did a good job with the voice, though if it were live action it might be better, as for the hulk movie who cares. The first one sucked ass

Sorry college is sure a bitch.

I saw Iron Man which was decent but, shouldv'e been better.

Hellboy 2 which is meh crap. I liked th first one better because it felt more like the comics.

Speed Racer was fuking awesome. I saw this one at the Imax.  \m/

Wanted is badass. I'm glad they bastardize the comic because I hate Mark Millar with a passion.

As for Incredible hulk and Dark Knight, I'm probably gonna skip those because they don't really appeal to me.

All that's left is Punisher Warzone and Mutant Chronicles but, right now I'm sorta dissapointed this year with movies.

I thought Iron Man was good. I've never read the comics, but I felt it was pretty cool. I thought the ending with Fury was pretty sweet. It felt like the highlight of the movie for me.

I missed Speed Racer but still really wanna see it. I'm a huge Emile Hirsch fan and the visuals look simply amazing. The Wachowskis might be a bit fucked up, at least one of em anyway, but they can make some pretty cool looking shit.

I FINALLY got around to watching the first Hellboy the other day in preparation for the second one being in theaters. I wasn't expecting much because I always heard people say it wasn't that great, but I liked it. It wasn't a masterpiece, but it kept me interested throughout the movie.

I loved Wanted. From the start it was action packed and it never let up. The only thing I didn't like was SPOILER AHEAD

Angelina killing everyone including herself. That really pissed me off. I wasn't expecting it at all which threw me for a loop, but I thought it was kind of shitty. Plus I thought Freeman was gonna get away which also pissed me off but he got what he had coming which closed the movie well in my opinion.

I still haven't checked out Hulk. I still haven't even watched the first one yet, but as much as I don't think Norton will make a good Hulk, I still wanna check it out.

I don't see how The Dark Knight doesn't appeal to you. It's the greatest comic book movie of all time, no questions asked. Heath didn't play The Joker. Heath WAS The Joker. He was immersed into the role and made it his own. Nicholson doesn't have shit on Ledger's Joker. As much as I thought Heath would suck when I first heard he was cast as The Joker, he was the best choice they could have possibly made and it sucks that he won't ever be able to reprise his role as Joker. It truly is an amazing movie and completely lives up to all the hype around it. I seriously suggest you check it out. I've already seen it three times in the theater. Check that shit out son.

I'll probably skip Punisher because Jane isn't in it. When I found out he left the project, I lost all interest.

Dark night kicked so much ass, Heath was the best Joker ever, he makes Jack Nicholson look sane. Check out that movie. As for punisher I'll inevidably see it at some point.

Wanted was a good movie... on its own... it has NOTHING to do with the comic, which disapointed me because the comic is badass, they shouldve just named the movie something different because to relate it to the comic is ridiculous...

Dark Knight was sick, i liked Aaron Eckhart better than Heath as a villain, i dont know why i just felt like he was more badass...

Hellboy 2 was great, i liked it better than the first one and i like how they created this new story just for the movie, and it really played out well.
