Was the site down yesterday? Couldn't access it at all.

Is this article suggesting that Scotland could become a renewable energy superpower? Too many unknowns to make that claim I think:

Went and saw a movie today called The Raid: Redemption.  It was very good.  I recommend it to anyone who loves action movies.  This was brutal almost non-stop fights and gun battles.  It's Indonisian but don't let the subtitles put you off.

The host was doing some server-side update stuff. Nothing I could do about it.

Thanks for the tip. It gets a great rating on IMDB, as well.

Weekend almost over lads, I sincerely dislike Mondays.  I need to win the lottery or something equally absurd.

Anyone heard about this mystery that took place in 1870 North America? Any theories?

This has become less a discussion thread and more a "Hey, look at this link" thread.

Anything you would like to discuss mr fancy pants¿

Recently I worked on video production for World Fighting Federation Mixed Martial Arts. There were some really good bouts. Here's one from the recent event, WFFMMA8.

You have to give this fighter, Matt Betzold mad props for being handicapped! Don't ever underestimate your opponent.

If you guys dig, like/follow/add WFFMMA to your social sites :D

This is another link, but I think most people will want to see it because it's the first teaser trailer for Anchorman 2 :yep:
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1229340/videogallery

I would never be a cage fighter, it looks far too painful lol.  How much do these guys earn? It's entertaining to watch certainly, but for me to take part I would need to be paid a lot ....I value my teeth and face lol.  Any of you guys ever done this or been involved with it?

We may have DNA evidence of Big Foot, or rather some Swiss biologist might: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-18160673.  I asked this before, but what do you think the chances are that something like this could evade detection by humans?  I think it's unlikely.

Yep, I couldn't be an mma fighter either unless given extensive training & conditioning.

Finally saw most of Spider-Man 2... it's actually a pretty good flick! only scene which didnt fly w/ me was the subway where spidy is KO'd unmasked and the ppl gawk at him... there should have been at least one taking video w/ their cell.

eh, prolly this was back in 2004, right b4 the "who cares to help when you can film it for youtube" generation.

Were cell phones with video camera widespread back in 2004? I honestly don't remember lol.  Yeah Spidey 2 is a good movie, but the thing that struck me as odd was Doc Oc's ability to take Spiderman's punches.  Spidey is superhumanly strong ....the doc is just a man with some metal arms. Those punches should have caved in his skull.

I think the new Spiderman this year will be better than the Toby Maguire versions, he was a good Peter Parker but his Spiderman was not what he should have been.  You need the sarcastic one liners, Toby's Spiderman rarely did that.

I bought 2 80's classics today, The Breakfast Club and Weird Science lol.  I haven't seen either for years.
