Chuck Norris is in the trailer wearing a black cap, lol. It looks like 90 mins of of pure macho entertainment. Only thing missing is Carl Weathers and Michael Biehn.

Yeah, I saw the moon was slightly bigger than normal and in a unusual position when I closed my bedroom curtains. Reminds me of when I was about 10 playing outside near a field one summer's evening so it was still light and the moon was the size of Craig David's chin.

The warthog in Ninja Turtles was stolen from a local zoo by some of Shredders robot droids. It's unclear why he'd choose a warthog for the mutation process, I guess that was the only violent animal they could find besides the rhino. There's even a mutant aligator character with a southern US accent who makes a few appearances later in the cartoon. And now this is a funny coincidence...
The story for Altered Beast was "A Roman centurion who had died in battle is resurrected from the dead by Zeus, who ordered the warrior to "rise from your grave" and save his daughter, Athena, from a Demon God called Neff in the Underworld. To become able to withstand the perils, the warrior gets the ability to absorb spirit balls which transform him into an Altered Beast, a part animal, part human creature of formidable force. Between each level are small animations giving the player glimpses of Athena's peril."

In other news, I've finally sold Phantasy Star 0 on ebay. Stupid bank holiday today so I can't go and post it until tomorrow.. drats.

I agree completely cky, I loved Cabin in the Woods.  I can't wait for it to come out on DVD.

I actually saw a movie recently with Michael Biehn called The Divide. Low budget movie about a group of people trying to survive a Nuclear attack.  Biehn plays the nut job who kitted out his building's basement with necessary supplies in case of the event of such an attack.  It was an ok movie, good to see Biehn back on screen.

Lol did you get a decent price for PS0 Nog?

Lol some football fan released a chicken onto the pitch during a match at the weekend.  Apparently it was in protest against the club's owners who specialise in chicken meat processing: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/17990595

I got £10 for that game from a single bidder. It sells on sites like Amazon for £12-15, so I couldn't get much more for it.

I watched The Divide last night, lol. Yeah, not much good, but was funny to see them all eating baked beans in Mr. Biehn's basement. I thought the set-up was terrible.. no explanation where in the world they are or why a nuke went off. It was going allright for about an hour, but as soon as they disarmed Biehn and locked him in a room, the film turned all weird, pointless and somewhat disgusting. It felt like they ran out of ideas so made up stupid crap as they went along. It was at this point, I decided to just skip to the last 20 mins  :nope:  Where did you watch it, Dis?  I don't recall it being released in UK cinemas.

Recently found this retro reviewer and I think he sounds like the badger from Bodger and Badger

The hype for this game in 1993-94 was ridiculous... it was on the same level as Mario 64 moving him in to 3D. lol, the flying kicks look abysmal and they only have 2 frames of animation. So much for next-gen graphics

Lol I didn't watch the end of that movie either, it did get a bit silly.  The main reason I watched it was because Biehn was in it.  I watched it on Sky Box Office, it's still available to watch now I think.

Lol that guy really does sound like Badger.  I don't recall that game at all though, what console was it for? I don't think it mentioned it in the vid did it?

Check this out, Hump Back Whales coming to the aid of Grey Whales who were being hunted by Orcas lol.  Nice comradery:

Never heard of Halestorm before.  What's the lead singer's name?

Been a good weekend lads, just need to relax and recover tomorrow :)

Saw Dark Shadows in the cinema too, it's not too bad.  But apparently it couldn't surpass Avengers, which has now had the best second week in box office history I believe.

Could we see the future invention of the Knight Industries Two Thousand? Or is it more likely to be Skynet

A further step towards creating Skynet and Terminators? Probably not, but I suspect one day we will all be cyborgs:

It's raining again outside as I type this. I can hear the faint sound of rolling thunder aswell. Fuckin hell, I thought we'd seen the last of the April showers by NOW  :|
Rise of the Robots was released for all main consoles at the time. I'm surprised you didn't hear anything about it. But it's not a game worth remembering, so it's understandble really.

I saw that science-fiction movie Surrogates, very mediocre to be fair. And there's a scene where one of the cyborgs gets shot in a chase sequence and oozes green blood from the wound. I was sitting there thinking "oh, how original. Why not be purple for a change?"

As amazing as this looks, I think I'll stick to walking. Just don't trust it... plus, I know that it's incredibly easy to crash the ferrari in the real game, lol.

Yeah been raining here too.  The weather doesn't seem to know what it wants to do this years.

Yeah the movie Surrogates was average, but the concept had the potential to be interesting, especially in light of what some scientists are trying to achieve.  Like I was saying, it could all lead to Skynet and Terminators

Lol, I wonder what made that guy think to himself "what if I could make a driving video game that really drives".  It could certainly be fun, but I doubt that car would pass as legally road worthy lol.  Which game is it?

Scientists in the US have used viruses to generate electricity.  Imagine if this could work on a large scale, the future energy crisis would be solved: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-18074644
