Haven't clicked the link, but I'm guessing this is related to the CES announcement of 3D movies coming out soon on Blu-Ray.

Crazy bunch of garbage. Current Blu-Ray players won't be compatible with the format, exception being PS3 with firmware update. And current HDTV's also won't be compatible as 540p resolution is required in order to make the simulated 3D field effects work.
