we use a combination of AVG ( for basic viruses), SpyBot ( for Spyware and Trojans), and MalewareBytes ( for the truly evil male-ware and auto installed fake programs). Get all three, they should be free. SpyBot & MalewareByes excepts donations and AVG has a free basic version out there.

Wow, my computer must really be fucked up. I downloaded all of them and when I try to run all of them my computer tells me that they're all infected to. I guess Im gonna have to do a complete re-install of Windows.

Do you have an unwanted virus program that somehow installed itself and claiming you're infected?
Are the real programs mentioned above updated?

Wow Diamond, those are the same three programs we pre-load onto the systems we build and sell at work! And also the same three installed on my PC.

Usually I run my stuff in Safe Mode.

SuperAntiSpyware is also ok to use. It doesn't handle the annoying malware as well as Malwarebytes only because some system files needed to open firefox, word or other programs get trapped in the quarantine.

I use:
http://www.microsoft.com/security_essentials/

Free anti virus and anti spyware from Microsoft themselves. It's pretty new and it does everything what those programs do in one. It's small too and it passes all the tests with flying colors. I'm really happy with it.

Sorry for posting in a kind of old topic, but one of the best free antivirus programs out there, that I use to scan windows pcs that I repair is Removeit.
http://www.softpedia.com/get/Antivirus/RemoveIT-Pro.shtml
It gets alot of stuff that the other programs just leave behind.

That Windows Firewall was a joke and a half on my old computer, viruses just ran over that thing. AVG was pretty helpful but I helped myself more by no longer using Windows.
